Showa Me the Money

Hey Lore Folk, today we’ve moved away from fake history about fake people and changed to real history about real people telling stories about fake monsters.

This week we will take you through the multiple eras of Godzilla’s film production in honour of the newest film; King of the Monsters!
Today we learn about the horrors of nuclear war, pollution, asthma and transferring your soul into your son’s body.
Ethan laughs at giant crabs, Jamie is gaslighted and Peter helps us along.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or simply fuse into one much larger listener that we must defeat.

Mirari’s Paw

Lore Boys back, after another hiatus brought about by unforeseen circumstances. Who’d have thought three sad boys would have such a hard time meeting up for several hours a week to do something they all love? Not us, that’s for sure. Regardless, we’re here with some more Magic: the Gathering history in what will be another multipart series.

We’re returning to Dominaria, though we’re way ahead of the Return to Dominaria. We’re a measly few decades post-Phyrexian-Invasion, and we’re traveling to Otaria to meet a young woman named Jeska and her brother Kamahl.
Kamahl, it turns out, has a thing for Superbowl-esque trophies, and will do just about anything to get his hands on one. It’s Kamahl’s Odyssey today on the Lore Boys!

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or simply find an ancient artifact of unspeakable power, use it to cast a Wish spell to have us next to you, and assume the Butterfly Effect-like chain of events which surely will follow after will end well for everyone involved.

Boncle

Hello and welcome Lore Folk, this week we’re building towards something great. This week we’re building Lego! That’s right, we’re getting into the deep sometimes convoluted and Mask obsessed lore of Bionicle. We learn about how some tiny people crashed their creator spirit into the ocean, the raw deal of being a magic robot angel and that giant enemy crabs can never be stopped.

Pete misses his toys, Ethan has a summer cold and has a Dayquil crash at 40 minutes and Jamie, well Jamie is just the sweetest thing you ever did see. All this and slightly more on The Lore Boys.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or to share your vague spiritual memories that we all kind of remember.

A Sword Named Ner’Zhul

Well the Lore Boys are back to finish off Arthas’s story. You know the tragic story of a rich, beautiful prince who decides the best way to save all his subjects is to kill all his subjects? Yeah, we’re real beat up over his loss too. Still a compelling story as we some of Warcraft’s heavy hitters, like Illidan Stormrage, Sylvanas Windrunner, Kel’Thuzad, Uther Lightbringer, and more! Hop into the episode to learn all about Arthas and how he and the Lich King truly find love… or something.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or to get tips and tricks on how to rule your subjects (it involves a lot of subjugating).

And a Horse Named Invincible

Lore Boys are back, this time we’re getting pumped for World of Warcraft Classic with some Warcraft Lore. We’re talking the Lich King, Arthas, Jaina, Uther, Muradin, and all the the crazy antics they all got up to. Who found that pesky Frostmourne, and why was Arthas so excited about it? Whose knees get broken, and whose kidneys get destroyed? We’ll learn about Arthas’s signature weapon, the brick on a rope, and who the pony-boy Ogden was REALLY working for this whole time.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com or just place a sword in distant, god-forsaken wasteland and have it whisper to us obscure but suggestive messages.

Florida Man Resurrected as Burning Spectre of Vengeance to Slay Rival Ninja

Lore Boys are here once more with the juiciest video game backstory podcast in town. This week we’re riding the hype of Mortal Kombat 11 to bring you the lore for MK1, 2, 3, 9, and a lead-in to MKX and MK11. Jamie couldn’t be here this week as we had to send him to mine some electricity and anime for the good of the podcast, but Peter and Ethan soldier on to wade through gore and viscera and bring you an episode featuring Ninjas and their jutsu, flaming skeletons, evil sorcerers, and a regularly scheduled tournament to decide leader of all the free worlds.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com or accidentally get one of your characters killed and we’ll show up to reset your Gameboy for you.

All Clams

The Lore Boys are back with another episode. Season three is shaping up to be real hum-dinger with this week’s Fire Emblem episode. Meet all your favourite characters, like Marth, Roy, Ike, Chrom, Robin, and Lucina. At least, meet them as far as we mention all of them, but we do go in depth with Marth lore!
It’s the history or Archanea in sweet and savoury podcast form. We talk about the creation of the Fire Emblem, the Binding Stone, Medeus, Shadow Dragons, Dragon Kings, and so much more Fire Emblem-y goodness. So slam those earbuds in and crank up the volume to learn all about sharkskin, learn about the first person to disavow a certain hate group, and learn the only thing that’s worse than being all thumbs: being no thumbs, which all clams are.
