Hunter and EcoTerrorist (World of Warcraft – Corrupted Blood Incident)

Hello and welcome Lore Folk, the Lore Boys are back but are not long for this world. Jamie is still in Mexico so it’s another conference call, but that’s probably for the best as we are covering the corrupted blood incident from World of Warcraft. We certainly don’t want to get too close to each other for this one as it could mean our certain doom.

Come along and learn about how fake germs grabbed the interest of actual governments, scientists and even created eco-terrorist cells within the game. Anthropologists studied the behaviour of players to get information about real life pandemics.

We also learn which class of person to avoid, no it isn’t the poor as their ability to steal the souls of the monarchy has been dismissed as quackery it was hunters. Their boar or cat could be a ticking bio-time bomb.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com or else we’ll pay for your head. You can also help by sneezing or coughing this episode straight into someone’s mouth.

Dead or Alive, but Generally Dead

The Lore Boys are back and this time they’re in it for the money. Join us for another conference call since Jamie is still in a different country, unless you’re in Mexico then Ethan and Peter are in a different country and Jamie is your neighbour.

This week we have returned to the font of lore known as BATTLETECH for a sixth time to cover the infamous Bounty Hunter.

While many people don’t know whether this was a man or a woman they did know that this person was in it for the money. Find out which nobles were pro and anti-severed head of their enemies, if it’s easy to shoot the colour green and what’s appropriate when hiring mercenaries for help.
We also talk about over crowding in the vastness of space, how to trick out your Battlemech and Mexican pollen allergies. Just another week with the Lore Boys.

How Many Bits to Stab Your Sister? (Magic: The Gathering – Jeska part 2)

Good morning, afternoon or evening Lore Folk. We return once again with more Magic the Gathering lore! Today (or whenever you’re listening, I don’t care) we continue the unfortunate story of Kamahl and his search for the ironically cursed Mirari.

We discuss his return to the blood pits, his journey home and his eventual attack on his sister which transformed her into Phage the Untouchable.

Many old friends return in this episode who are all completely convinced that the lives this relic has ruined had nothing to do with using it to grant wishes.

Jamie asks where milk comes from and Pete gets bribed into also stabbing his sister.

Just a regular day in Lore town.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com.

Showa Me the Money

Hey Lore Folk, today we’ve moved away from fake history about fake people and changed to real history about real people telling stories about fake monsters.

This week we will take you through the multiple eras of Godzilla’s film production in honour of the newest film; King of the Monsters!
Today we learn about the horrors of nuclear war, pollution, asthma and transferring your soul into your son’s body.
Ethan laughs at giant crabs, Jamie is gaslighted and Peter helps us along.

Mirari’s Paw

Lore Boys back, after another hiatus brought about by unforeseen circumstances. Who’d have thought three sad boys would have such a hard time meeting up for several hours a week to do something they all love? Not us, that’s for sure. Regardless, we’re here with some more Magic: the Gathering history in what will be another multipart series.

We’re returning to Dominaria, though we’re way ahead of the Return to Dominaria. We’re a measly few decades post-Phyrexian-Invasion, and we’re traveling to Otaria to meet a young woman named Jeska and her brother Kamahl.
Kamahl, it turns out, has a thing for Superbowl-esque trophies, and will do just about anything to get his hands on one. It’s Kamahl’s Odyssey today on the Lore Boys!

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or simply find an ancient artifact of unspeakable power, use it to cast a Wish spell to have us next to you, and assume the Butterfly Effect-like chain of events which surely will follow after will end well for everyone involved.

Boncle

Hello and welcome Lore Folk, this week we’re building towards something great. This week we’re building Lego! That’s right, we’re getting into the deep sometimes convoluted and Mask obsessed lore of Bionicle. We learn about how some tiny people crashed their creator spirit into the ocean, the raw deal of being a magic robot angel and that giant enemy crabs can never be stopped.

Pete misses his toys, Ethan has a summer cold and has a Dayquil crash at 40 minutes and Jamie, well Jamie is just the sweetest thing you ever did see. All this and slightly more on The Lore Boys.

As always, we super appreciate you listening, and hope that if you enjoy the show you’ll tell your friends and leave us a review on iTunes and the rest our social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.) We wanna hear from you guys, so shoot us an email at loreboyspodcast@gmail.com to give us feedback, or to share your vague spiritual memories that we all kind of remember.

A Sword Named Ner’Zhul

Well the Lore Boys are back to finish off Arthas’s story. You know the tragic story of a rich, beautiful prince who decides the best way to save all his subjects is to kill all his subjects? Yeah, we’re real beat up over his loss too. Still a compelling story as we some of Warcraft’s heavy hitters, like Illidan Stormrage, Sylvanas Windrunner, Kel’Thuzad, Uther Lightbringer, and more! Hop into the episode to learn all about Arthas and how he and the Lich King truly find love… or something.
